Beefy Tomato casserole

Quick casserole for a rainy day.
What you need
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1/2 sweet pepper, diced
- 1 cup instant rice
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1-2 Cups Cream of Prepared Mushroom Soup (Recipe here) Enough to thoroughly fill the mixture without excess liquid.
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 Ounces of white cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Place the ground beef, pepper and onions in a skillet. Saute until beef is evenly brown. Drain.
- Add the other ingrediets (except the cheese) Mix well and simmer for 10 minutes. Place in a casserole dish.
- Top with cheese and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until cheese is just browning.
