    Beefy Tomato casserole

    Quick casserole for a rainy day.

    What you need

    • 1 pound ground beef
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 1/2 sweet pepper, diced
    • 1 cup instant rice
    • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
    • 1-2 Cups Cream of Prepared Mushroom Soup (Recipe here) Enough to thoroughly fill the mixture without excess liquid.
    • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
    • 1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 6 Ounces of white cheddar cheese

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
    2. Place the ground beef, pepper and onions in a skillet. Saute  until beef is evenly brown. Drain.
    3. Add the other ingrediets (except the cheese) Mix well and simmer for 10 minutes. Place in a  casserole dish.
    4. Top with cheese and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until cheese is just browning.
