What to do with leftover egg yolks?
- Make great custards, cream fillings, smoothies and puddings
- Mayonnaise, hollandaise and eggnog
- Pastry and dough, cakes (yellow), carbonara and as a binding agent
- Pamper your skin and hair (recipes abound!)
Egg yolks can be stored for up to 2 days in a refrigerator. add a little water as they dry out quickly. It is not recommended to store them in a freezer as with egg whites.
