Buttermilk Marinade

For chicken or seafood. You can marinade chicken up to 6 hours or so, however, only marinade seafood for about 30 minutes.

What you need

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon grated lemon zest
  • 4 tablespoons chopped garlic (3 cloves)

Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, buttermilk, fresh dill, and garlic. Serve with protein of your choice.

Cook's Notes

Instead of dill, try finely chopped chives. Or substitute limes for the lemons.
