Alfalfa Seeds, Sprouted, Raw

A good source of dietary fiber, alfafa seeds are also low in saturated fats, cholesterol while being a good source of Vit A and Calcium.

Nutrition.org does recommend that they be consumed with caution as they can contain fecal bacteria if consumed raw. A best practice is to grow your own. Our methods on sprount production as a Homesteader can be found here.

 

They are used as a fresh ingredient in leave entre's (salads, tuna salad, etc.). A
